into a solid. Lubricating oil pour point is an important quality indicators of low temperature fluidity .
For the production , transport and use are important. High pour point oil can not be used at low temperatures. In
contrast , at higher temperatures the area is not necessary to use a low pour point oil. Because the lower the pour
point of lubricating oil , the higher the cost of production , resulting in unnecessary waste. In general, the pour point
of lubricating oil should be higher than the minimum ambient temperature is low 5 ~ 7.
But particularly also to mention that in the selection of low-temperature lubricants , should be combined with oil
pour point , low viscosity and viscosity-temperature characteristics fully into account. Because of low pour point oil , and its low viscosity and viscosity-temperature characteristics may also not meet the requirements .
Pour point and the pour point of the oil is low temperature fluidity index , the difference unprincipled only slightly
different measurement method . Same oil pour point and pour point is not entirely equal, generally pour point higher
than the pour point 2 ~ 3 , but there are exceptions .
